Feel Good Moves

We run a class called Feel Good Moves. It is specifically for the visually impaired community in and around the Kingston area and most of the class is audio described by our fitness instructor, Marion. The class is a mixture of yoga, tai chi and very gentle martial arts.

Who is this for?

Disability

  • Visual impairment (blindness).

What is this service?

Participants are welcome to be chair-based if they have mobility issues.  The key is to feel included and meet others who are facing the same challenges.  Visual impairment can be very isolating and we are seeing a big increase in Macular related conditions as our population ages.

The class is every other Thursday at the New Malden Leisure centre.  Upcoming dates are 20/11, 4/12 and 18/12 between 3-4pm.  The first taster session is free and from then on we charge £5.
