Chessington Sports Centre offers a community gym, as well as many other classes and activities for adults and children.
What is this service?
We are open for face to face activities. We provide the following activities three days a week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
9:00am to 10:30am : Brain Stimulating and Cognitive Games
10:30am to 11:30am : Internet/Mobile/Tablet Device Training, Fun games, Bingo, Quizzes, Game of Boccia, Cook and Eat programme, Gardening Project, Debates and Discussions etc
11:30am to 12:30pm : Live Exercise Classes with trained professionals
Tuesdays : Chair Yoga
Wednesdays: Ki-Gong (based on individuals'' ability)
Thursdays: Exercise with Bollywood Music
We also run Special projects on Mondays like Computer Classes, Walking Football, Art and Culture workshops (Carnival themes), Travelling independently with confidence, Walk for Health to name a few
1:45pm to 2:45pm : Afternoon Activities like Knitting Club, Meditation and Mindfulness, Professional talks on health and wellbeing, Clay Art, General Socialising etc.
In house Lunch Service on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Meals on Wheels Service: We deliver freshly cooked vegetarian meals to our members on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Transport Service : We provide home pick up and drop off service.
Befriending Service : Befriending service is provided to our members who are unable to attend the centre regularly via phone calls providing practical and emotional support
We offer Advocacy and Active listening Therapy
We also organise trips and outings to interesting places.

- Cost: Membership Subscription Basis and based on individuals' needs
- Additional information: Service caters to people with low to moderate needs.
- Getting here: Good access to public transport. Approximately 5 minutes walk from the nearest bus-stop Bus numbers 131, 213 and K5 from Kingston. People with DAR membership can access the service using DAR.
- Keeping updated: We have Milaap Members' WhatsApp group on which we send information and service timetable regularly.
- Parking: There is no parking available on-site.
