What is this service?

Mentoring Programme

Our Mentoring Programme partners with schools to support young women aged 12-15.

We deliver our mentoring programmes weekly after school for two hours during term time. Young women are partnered with a mentor under the supervision of a project leader.

The sessions cover self-esteem and confidence building activities in addition to academic skills.

Employability & Skills Programme

Our Employability and Skills Programme develops the skills and talents of young women who are recent graduates, students, long term unemployed, or NEET’s, to lead them to a better future in life.

We provide:

· Spotlight talks and events with employers and recent graduates

· CV and interview workshops

· Application support & practice tests

· Work shadowing and mentoring

Personal Development Programme

Our Personal Development Programme enables young women to develop their confidence and self-esteem through a variety of workshops and activities:

· Vision Board Workshop: Vision boards are a modern manifestation tool combining concepts taken from creative hobbies like scrapbooking with motivational mind-mapping techniques.

· Goal Setting & Motivation Workshop: Using SMART goals as a tool, we help young women to set deadlines on their dreams, and helps them to set realistic attainable goals.

· Career Development Workshop: Helps young women develop core skills sets through activities that are based on careers in the real world.

· Creative Activities Workshop: Provides an opportunity for young women to express their creativity, through music, arts, writing, and more.

· Relationship Building Workshop: Relationships are too important to leave to chance. Educational success and social-emotional development blossom when caring adults and supportive peers are present in young people’s lives.
