At Be Happy Yoga, my goal is to make yoga truly inclusive – and that includes creating a space where men feel completely welcome. Yoga4Men is just like any other yoga class, except that everyone in the room is male.
For too long, yoga has been seen as slow stretching that doesn’t fit traditional male fitness goals. But that’s not true. Yoga is a powerful, full-body discipline that requires strength, balance, and stamina plus the ability to rest and recover well.
With regular practice, you’ll:
Move better
Sleep better
Feel better, inside and out
How You’ll Benefit
Reduce the risk of injuries and chronic pain
Improve posture, spinal alignment, and core strength
Support athletic performance in other sports
Boost mental wellbeing and physical resilience — yoga improves heart rate variability
Increase mobility, flexibility, and quality of life
Develop greater self-awareness and proprioception
Who Can Join?
Yoga4Men is for all fitness levels. There’s a place for you here whether you’re:
A complete beginner
A regular gym-goer looking to enhance athletic performance
Recovering from injury
Seeking a new way to stay strong and mobile over the long term
Learning Yoga with Lesley over the last 2 years has been a pleasure. I have never done yoga before and can’t rate her highly enough."

We run a class called Feel Good Moves. It is specifically for the visually impaired community in and around the Kingston area and most of the class is audio described by our fitness instructor, Marion. The class is a mixture of yoga, tai chi and very gentle martial arts.
