Rather than “snap and forget” your photos, come and join a bunch of friendly club members whose images are regularly exhibited in print and projected digital image competitions during the season that runs from September 2024 to June 2025.
New members joining a year ago say how much they enjoy learning tips that improve their pictures, while being in a social environment with people with similar interests. Comments from a keen member:
“Having an independent judge constructively comment on my images has helped me think more critically about my work. This feedback has encouraged me to focus on improving my skills and shifted my mindset from merely "taking a snap" to "creating an image”.
“What has made my experience even more rewarding is the supportive and friendly nature of fellow members. They express genuine interest in any images shared and offer encouragement. The sense of community and shared passion for photography has been motivating and enriching”.
Kingston Camera Club meets in term time on Monday evenings 7.30 pm for 8.00 pm start until 10 pm at St Andrew’s Church Hall, Church Road, Ham, TW10 5HG. Parking is available. Come and visit us for two free evenings before making a decision to join. Our new season opens on Monday 2 September 2024. Further information on our website:

All are welcome to help create a community garden at Tolworth Station, behind our new community hub and kitchen 'Baking Ideas'. The proposed herb and wildlife garden will give residents access to a safe outdoor meeting place, encourage biodiversity and allow people to take cuttings from the herbs.
