What is this service?

Places Leisure’s Healthy Communities programme offers a range of gentle, low-impact activities to help adults improve their strength, balance, flexibility, mobility and confidence.

Sessions include:

  • seated exercise

  • strength and balance classes

  • gentle movement

  • Pilates and

  • water-based exercise

Activities are suitable for people with different levels of fitness, including those who are returning to exercise, managing a health condition or looking for a more supported way to stay active.

Classes are delivered at:

  • the Malden Centre and

  • Tolworth Recreation Centre
