We support families living in Kingston. We tailor our support to: parents under stress, parents living with mental health conditions, and carers.
Over a million older people in the UK identify as being 'always or often lonely'. Some older people go for months without seeing friends or family.
Visiting an older person as part of your weekly run can make a huge difference to the lives of older people in the borough.
We call the older people we visit coaches because they help motivate us to run and they share their wisdom. It's amazing what you can learn from your coach. Coach runs can be fit around your schedule and don’t need to take up more than 20 minutes of your time per week.
Visit the Goodgym website to find out about how to get involved.
To find out what's going on in your area, visit the GoodGym Kingston's webpage.
Register your interest on the goodgym website and the team will discuss this opportunity with you and complete the checks required before matching you with a coach.
I really enjoy getting to know my coach with our regular calls, she's such a live wire, so full of stories and keen to hear about my life too.
