Achieving for Children (AfC) supports children and young people from birth to 25 years old. We work on behalf of Kingston Council.
We support families living in Kingston. We tailor our support to: parents under stress, parents living with mental health conditions, and carers.

Background
Kingston WelCare is a parenting Charity based at The Parents’ Place in North Kingston (Canbury Park Road). We provide a variety of activities and support services to help local families:
Monday Mums: A peer-support craft group
Weekly Stay and Play: Fun sessions for parents and children
Storystorks: Weekly interactive storytelling
School Holiday Activities: A program to keep kids engaged during breaks
Lunch Clubs: A chance to socialize and enjoy a meal
Well-being Workshops: Held throughout the year
Parent Volunteering: Opportunities with training included

A support group for mothers who are breastfeeding.

We offer free drama workshops and recovery support to those affected by addiction, and give people affected by addiction a voice – enabling them to reach and recognise their potential, find an identity and build life skills and confidence in order to support recovery.
