Kingston WelCare is a parenting Charity. The Parents Place is based in North Kingston, on Canbury Park Rd, and parents or professionals are welcome to drop in and see us, telephone for more information. Tel: 0208546 3258, or e-mail: manager@welcarekingston.org.uk.
We are open Monday to Thursday 9.30-3.30 pm
We offer:
*Monday mum's - peer support craft group
*Weekly Stay and Play
*Storystorks - a weekly interactive story telling session
*A school holiday activities programme
*Regular lunch clubs
*Well-being workshops through the year
*Parent Volunteering, with training opportunities
Kingston WelCare’s Re-Connect project offers emotional and practical support to local parents to help them with challenges such as the current cost of living crisis.
It is our aim to support families to connect with their local community and make best use of the services and resources available to them.
The project runs on Tuesdays from 12 noon to 3 pm and
Wednesdays 9.30am to 3.30pm.

All our activities are subsidised to keep them accessible for young families and we have a parents committee that helps WelCare ensure the service meets the needs of local parents.
Our base WelCare House is a family friendly building. It has a lovely garden, kitchen & cafe area a large meeting and small room and is available for rent evenings, Fridays and weekends at very reasonable rates.

- Cost: From 50p to £5 for a family day out
- Keeping updated: Once a parent access our services , we will ask them to register with us. We use these details to share information of our new activities.
- Getting here: Kingston WelCare is a 5 min walk from Kingston rail station and the Cromwell rd bus station. There is limited meter parking in the surrounding streets.
- Signing up: Many of our activities are drop-in's so just turn up, or you can book an appointment to find out more about a particular activity.
