Canbury Pavilion is a wonderful community resource in North Kingston. The Pavilion provides a venue for a wide range of regular activities and events, including several voluntary organisations. We are also available to book for private functions.

What is this service?

Canbury Pavilion is a wonderful community resource in North Kingston which you can use for parties or to host a regular class or gathering.

We are situated in the lovely Canbury Gardens, next the Thames.

Facilities Available at the Pavilion:

  • The pavilion has a main area for parties and events, with tables and chairs to seat 48 people

  • A carpeted recreational area outside the pavilion, but within the fenced area, provides a nice child-friendly play space.

  • Ramps can be provided to enable wheelchair access.

  • Sound system to play music via CDs, a Bluetooth connection or through a USB socket.

  • Kitchen facilities (microwave, hotplate and a kettle).

  • Toilets & baby changing facilities.

  • Refreshments can be arranged with Canbury Secret Café (our neighbour in Canbury Gardens)

Bookings can be made by emailing canbury.pavilion@gmail.com.

The pavilion is available for private functions, including childrens' parties at the weekends.

The Pavilion is run by the Canbury Community Trust. Volunteers rescued this 100 year old bowling pavilion weeks before it was knocked down and have turned it into a vibrant community resource for Kingston.
