Tea and Treats provides free refreshments in a warm welcoming inclusive space offering public benefit to those in the community. The purpose of Tea and Treats is to alleviate loneliness and isolation, promote social prescribing, well being, social inclusion and to encourage integration.
Who is it for?
Tea and Treats is for everyone. People who benefit from Tea and Treats are the elderly, lonely, long term carers, refugees, food bank users, socially or economically deprived, have physical or mental health issues, new comers to the area, people learning the English language, new parents and those living in the community looking for a free meeting place to socialise and connect.
When?
The 1st Friday of every month, 11am - 2pm at Swinnerton Hall, 62 Gibbon Road, Kingston, KT2 6AB
