The purpose of the Level 1 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing is to develop an understanding of lifestyle choices and other factors that relate to, and impact on, health and wellbeing and to prepare learners for further learning or training in these areas.

The OCNLR Level 1 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing comprises a suite of units. The topics covered in the Certificate range from awareness of health and wellbeing, to ones that have a bearing on these, such as diet and exercise, sleep, stress management, personal safety, mental health, body image and social media, to name but a few. These qualifications are intended to enhance the personal growth and employability of learners. They can be delivered to a broad range of learners, including those on full study programmes as part of an enrichment
