We want to ensure that if you are affected by cancer, you have access to comprehensive, expert information and support. We can help anyone – patients, their relatives, friends and carers – with concerns about cancer.

This service is a joint venture between Macmillan Cancer Support and Kingston Hospital. We want to ensure that if you are affected by cancer, you have access to comprehensive, expert information and support.
Our service is staffed by a health professional and trained volunteers, some of whom have experience of living with cancer.
We can help anyone – patients, their relatives, friends and carers – with concerns about cancer.
Our information and support
When you visit our information centre, you’ll be greeted either by our manager or a trained volunteer. You’ll find a range of information leaflets on all aspects of cancer.
Some of our resources are available in different languages or a larger print. We also have a range of information for people with learning disabilities.
We run a range of different services and groups, including:
Wellbeing workshops on topics such as mindfulness and relaxation
Look good feel better workshops which are makeup and confidence building workshops
Scarf tying workshops where you can be taught how to tie scarves properly and a large selection are available to purchase
Benefits and finance advice service is a free and confidential service for people living with cancer, their families and carers

The Kingston Stronger Together (KST) Health Improvement team will support those who are suffering with long-Covid symptoms to get the support they need. The team provide links to support for wider health needs and, where eligible, offer Household Support Fund vouchers.
