At Young Minds we want to make sure that all young people get the mental health support they need, when they need it.
We offer free psychological therapies for common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression. After an initial assessment, you will be paired with one of our therapists who will provide 6 weeks of free sessions to you.

Depression, recurrent depression, and peri and post natal depression
Generalised Anxiety Disorder
Panic disorder

Post-traumatic stress disorder
Health Anxiety
Mixed depression and anxiety
Anxiety/ depression for those with long term health conditions
Our treatments are delivered over the telephone; face-to-face; online and within group workshops.
We accept self-referrals (online); GP referrals; and referrals from other health professionals. You will be offered a telephone or face to face assessment, followed by treatment recommendations or signposting to alternative services. Assessments are usually offered within 2 weeks of the referral, however there are waiting lists for treatments following this.
To access the service you must be 18+ and be registered with a GP in the Kingston borough.

We support families living in Kingston. We tailor our support to: parents under stress, parents living with mental health conditions, and carers.

We offer free drama workshops and recovery support to those affected by addiction, and give people affected by addiction a voice - enabling them to reach and recognise their potential, find an identity and build life skills and confidence in order to support recovery.
