Our aims at the Well-being Hub are to provide support and guidance to the public and those we support through their mental and emotional well-being as well as teach them how to manage their stress and anxiety. Through our Wellbeing Hub activities, we aim to increase self-esteem and alleviate loneliness.
We achieve this by providing 1-on-1 support, signposting support to other organisations and providing practical ideas for happier living. We practice mindfulness and provide a safe space for peer support. We engage in many activities that allow for relationship and skills-building such as quizzes, exercise, music and dance, educational sessions, coffee and chat sessions and evening outings. We also plan exciting day trips with our members, like trips to Hampton Court Palace.
I have always felt very welcomed at Fircroft. My illness is like second place. It is important but Fircroft makes me the most important thing Carol
