All Girls Basketball – Kingston Lions
Kingston Lions Basketball Club offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for girls to get involved in basketball, whether they’re new to the sport or looking to play competitively.
The club runs competitive girls’ teams from U10 to U18, with the main season running from September to May. Trials for these teams take place in May, with training beginning in early summer (June/July). Training sessions are held across venues including Coombe Girls’ School, Raynes Park High School and Richard Challoner School, typically between 5pm and 8pm, Monday to Thursday, with games taking place at weekends.
For girls who prefer a more informal or non-competitive option, the club offers a weekly U13 open session (Years 4–8). This takes place on Mondays, 5:25–6:25pm at Coombe Girls’ School and is ideal for beginners or those looking to build confidence and skills in a relaxed setting.
There is currently no waiting list, but all enquiries should be directed to Coach Andrew before signing up.
