What is this group?

Kingston Knitting Bee is for knitters of all levels. We're a friendly, easy-going group that meets weekly for a bit of a knit and a chat. The meetup is informal, not a class, and is always free.

Bring along your current project, get help with a tricky technique, share your knowledge with a novice, or have a friendly chat and lose count of your stitches. Or if you're completely new to knitting, just turn up with a ball of wool and needles and learn to knit - there's always someone eager to help.

The meetups take place from 5:30-8pm (-ish). The timing is flexible, so do feel free to turn up whenever suits you in that period!

Purchase of a drink is encouraged but not required—The Canbury Arms kindly welcomes our group every Monday and it’s nice to thank them with a purchase (and a mention in your Instagram stream!) but all we require is your company!
