What is this service?

The Healthy Mind Programme is an initiative that caters for Tamils, including Tamil refugees and asylum with or at risk of mental health problems.

We provide mental health assessments, counselling, an outreach service, and more.

The weekly Activity Centre run by the project on every Mondays at Queens Mary Hall in New Malden provides a wide range of activities to enrich the life experiences of people affected by mental health issues.

These include:

  • Physical and mental exercises

  • Advice and support

  • Games

  • Social interaction and a relaxed environment

  • Light entertainment

Run by the Centre for Community Development, we look at community development work as a holistic approach, supported by our other projects and consider mental well being is one of the important elements in the community development.
