Our art groups have been providing a place where people can develop their creativity, relax, and make friends.
What is this service?
The Musical Director Julian Collings was appointed to take over as MD early in 2019. Over the last few years the choir has enjoyed a growing reputation for its repertoire of outstanding contemporary music alongside the established classics. Phil Culling is the exceptional accompanist.
TCS is currently around 100 strong; new singers are very welcomed for 'taster sessions', particularly male voices and sopranos 2.
Three main concerts are performed during the year and workshops are a regular feature, plus social evenings.
With past successes and imaginative programming, TCS is thriving. New singers are welcome, regardless of age; especially those who enjoy their music making. We like to rehearse and perform with our sense of humour switched on.
Teddington Choral retains it is friendly and is a great asset to the local Arts scene and the Community. Come and listen or join!

Our next concert is on July 6th 2024 at St Andrew's Church, Maple Road, Surbiton, KT6 4DS at 7:30pm.
Featuring a selection of French compositions from both early and contemporary periods, including Duruflé’s Requiem, Fauré’s Tantum Ergo, a medley from Les Misérables and others.
The choir will be joined by a fantastic set of professional singers and musicians: mezzo-soprano Clara Kanter, baritone** Jon Stainsby, cellist Rebecca Hepplewhite, Peter Jaekel** at the organ

Good to know
- Cost: Yearly fees from £190, Termly £80. Some concessions available too
- Getting here: You will find us in Twickenham, TW1 4QJ at the St Catherine's school. There is a bus stop just in front of the school (Buses 33 or R68)
- Parking: There is the possibility of free street parking from 6:30pm
- Meeting up: Contact our secretary to arrange a trial on one of our Monday evening rehearsals
