Our art groups have been providing a place where people can develop their creativity, relax, and make friends.
Teddington Choral Society was founded in 1951 and performed under several famous conductors. Their repertoire covers a wide range of genres. The choir is a community choir, that has no formal audition entry. However recent concerts have sold out and have received a lot of praise from the audience.

The Musical Director Julian Collings was appointed to take over in 2019. Over the last few years the choir has enjoyed a growing reputation for their repertoire of outstanding modern music alongside the established classic music. Phil Culling is the exceptional accompanist.
TCS currently has around 110 members. New singers are very welcome for 'taster sessions', particularly male voices and those who are altos wishing to sing tenor.
Three main concerts are performed during the year. Workshops are a regular feature, as well as social evenings.
TCS is thriving with past successes and inventive programmes. We like to rehearse and perform with our sense of humour switched on.

Earth, wind and choir: a musical celebration of nature's power
At the landmark Arts Centre, Ferry road, Teddington TW11 9NN at 7:30pm (doors open a 6:45pm).
The evening will feature a wide variety of music centred on the theme of nature, with pieces by Haydn, Mendelssohn, Stanford, Gjeilo, Sondheim and more.
The choir will perform a thrilling and entertaining repertoire celebrating the beauty and power of nature.
Teddington Choral Society and its Musical Director, Julian Collings are looking forward to be joined by Baritone Jon Stainsby and Phil Culling at the piano.

Future Friends provides lots of fun activities for adults aged 19-35 with learning disabilities and runs twice a month.
