Teddington Choral Society

Teddington Choral Society is a mixed choir composed of over 100 singers and performs three concerts a year. Their repertoire covers Oratorios such as The Creation, Elijah and Handel’s Messiah; plus contemporary work, Chilcott, McDowall and Pärt and lighter musicBernstein, British folk songs and Songs from shows. The choir is under the direction of Julian Collings since the beginning of 2019.

Next performance: Christmas Concert, December 10th at St Mary’s Church, TW1 3NJ at 7:30pm featuring excerpts of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and other Christmas favourite.

    Teddington Choral Society was founded in 1951 and performed under several famous conductors. Their repertoire covers a wide range of genres. Although the choir is a community choir, with no formal audition entry, recent concerts have sold out and have received a lot of praises from the audience.
