What is this service?

Breast cancer remains the most common cancer for women in the UK, with more than 50,000 women diagnosed each year. The chances are that most of us will have been touched by the disease in some way.

Breast screening at Kingston Hospital is offered to women aged between 50 and 70 years old who are registered with a GP every three years.

This service is free and if you meet the criteria, you will automatically be sent an appointment invite.

For more information, or if you're over 70 and would like to participate. please contact the Rose Centre at St George's Hospital on 020 8725 2723.

If you don't fit the above criteria or if you're worried about breast cancer symptoms, such as a lump or an area of thickened tissue in a breast, or you notice that your breasts look or feel different from what's normal for you, do not wait to be offered screening. See a GP.
