The Royal British Legion is a support service for the armed forces. This includes those from the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families.

You can get access to support from your first day in service.

What we offer:

Care and independent living

We provide a variety of options:

  • Care homes for older veterans

  • Support for carers 

  • Help with living safely at home

Physical and mental wellbeing

We have a number of activities and support options you can get involved in: 

  • Rehabilitation services

  • Recovery through art programmes

  • Recovery through sport programmes

Financial and employment support

  • Get support with:

  • Compensation after an injury

  • Help with debt and emergency situations

  • Grant applications

Expert guidance

We offer our members:

  • Housing advice

  • Rights and pensions advice

  • Inquest advice, to support you if you have experienced a bereavement
