What is this service?

We can help you understand and defend your rights

If you can't afford a lawyer, we're here to help. We provide free and independent legal advice on social welfare issues including housing, debt, immigration, benefits and employment.

Without the free or low-cost legal services our Law Centre provides, many local people would be locked out of getting justice, simply because they can’t afford a lawyer.

Each year we help thousands of people to defend their rights, stay in their homes, clear debts, resolve employment problems, protect themselves and their families, and access essential benefit payments to protect them from poverty.
