Repair Café Kingston meets monthly at Kingston Library to help residents save money and keep repairable stuff out of the waste system.
Page last updated
Repair Café Kingston takes place on the first Saturday morning of every month, 10.30am - 1.00pm, in Kingston Library's community room, helping residents to save money and keep repairable stuff out of the waste system.
Visitors can bring all sorts of broken items to fix on the spot with the help of our volunteer repairers and refreshments while you wait, watch and learn. Electricals and electronics are usually our busiest tables, with textiles just behind, but our volunteer fixers can tackle all kinds of other repairs, including small items of furniture.
You can drop in, but might have to wait for a repair - or see our visitors' page at https://www.ttkingston.org/repair-cafe-kingston/repair-cafe-guidance-for-vis/ to find out more, including how to book a repair slot (last booking or drop-in session 12.30) or how to volunteer to help at Repair Café.
Volunteers with repair skills are always welcome, and also volunteers to help with hosting, organising refreshments, clearing up and washing up. Find out more at https://www.ttkingston.org/ttk-groups-and-projects/kingston-repair-cafe/repair-cafe-volunteering/ and get in touch, or come along to one of our Saturday morning sessions to find out more and chat.
First time at Kingston Repair Cafe today. Great experience. Lovely people and my 20+ year old coffee grinder saved from landfill! Amazing! Thanks!
