What is this service?

PlayPlus offers weekly mother and baby sensory play sessions in small groups for children whose mum's have postnatal depression.

Regular 1 to 1 me-time, will help mum's offer their babies sensory activities to stimulate baby and strengthen parent child attachment. this helps parents understand their baby’s cues, so they can better respond to their baby’s needs.

We will also organise weekly toddler play sessions designed to nurture well-being and strengthen children's social and emotional resilience. Children learn and develop best through good play opportunities. Play is powerful and has positive effects on a child’s brain.

We will promote story-telling as we want children to enjoy a story every day. We will help parents establish their child’s love of stories and books and will include a story at each weekly session.
