We are a community Contraception & Sexual Health Service based in Hollyfield House in Surbiton. Our service is non-judgmental, friendly, free and confidential. We welcome everyone, all genders, sexualities and all age groups.

What is this service?

We will arrange for a nurse to speak to you to discuss your situation and offer you an appointment, if possible. Please note we need to prioritise urgent cases. It is expected that all appointments will be offered from Hollyfield House, 22 Hollyfield Road, Surbiton, KT5 9AL.

We offer the following services, which are all free:

  • Condoms: including the c card scheme

  • Contraception: pills, injectable, patches, implants (as walk-ins), implant removal/IUD/IUS (coils) (by appointment)

  • Emergency contraception-emergency hormonal contraception & emergency coil (IUD)

  • Screening: asymptomatic screens for STIs- blood/ urine and self taken vaginal swabs-tests available for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B & C.

  • Pregnancy: tests, options discussion, referral for termination of pregnancy; self referral for abortion is also available.

  • Treatment: for chlamydia infection and follow-up

Young People's Walk-In Clinic

For people aged 21 and under, this 3:30-6:30pm weekly walk-in clinic on Mondays offers contraception and sexual health services which are free, friendly and confidential. This includes sex and relationships advice, pregnancy testing and abortion advice, STI testing and treatment, emergency contraception, contraception choices including long acting reversible contraception, and free condoms. All services are free of charge.

No appointment is necessary - just walk in at Hollyfield House.

KU19 Text Service

The KU19 Clinic text service is a secure and confidential text messaging service for young people under 19. You can text a KU19 Nurse on 07507 205308 (text service only) for advice and support on a range of issues including:

  • Contraception including Long Acting Reversible Contraception

  • STI testing, and treatment for chlamydia

  • Emergency contraception

  • Pregnancy testing

  • Condoms

  • Other sexual health advice

The textline is monitored Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, but you can text any time. We can only reply during our monitoring hours.

If you have free texts included in your mobile network allowance then it will not cost you to message the KU19 service. Costs of texts made outside of your allowance will be charged at your standard network rate.
