service
EnhanceAble Living provides support to people in their own homes and in the community.
We provide support with a whole range of issues, tailored to individual needs such as managing finance, support with employment or education, improving social skills, health and fitness and improving mental wellbeing. These needs will be discussed and agreed by way of a support plan.

Mind in Kingston is jointly commissioned with Hestia by the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames (RBK) to provide the Mental Health Housing Related Support Service (also known as the Floating Support Service).
We work closely with Hestia to offer support to people with a range of mental health issues to live independently in the local community. Some of this is in shared accommodation with low, medium and high-level support and some in people’s own homes (visiting Floating Support).
The service is time-limited with the aim of the client moving on; this could mean accessing lower level support or living entirely independently. For clients in their own home, we will work towards specific goals that will improve their mental well-being and support their ability to live independently.
Referrals
Clients who want to access support in shared accommodation must be referred by the Adult Social Care department at the local authority, who will make a nomination to a panel that assesses all potential clients for supported housing in the borough. The panel consists of mental health professionals from RBK and South West London & St George’s Mental Health Trust, as well as representatives from local Support Housing providers.
The panel will assess the needs and requirements of potential clients and whether they need high, medium or low-level support. This way, clients will be referred to the most appropriate service. Once the panel has assessed the client, they will be referred to the most suitable provider.
Clients who wish to receive support in their own home can be referred by the above, or their GP or other health professional.
