Founded in 1904, the club moved to its current location in 1919. Welcoming clubhouse with changing rooms (no showers). Limited on-site parking. Coaching will be provided for beginners. We have a large selection of bowls for beginners to try out until they find the right size for themselves. Second-hand bowls are available to be purchased from the club.

As a private members' club, it is run by the members for the members. Committees are comprised of members who have been chosen by all the membership at the Annual General Meeting for a minimum of one year.
All the tasks within the club are carried out by the members so that costs can be kept down, it's especially valuable where members have skills that they are happy to share for the running and maintaining of the club.
The maintenance of the green is carried out professionally by a contracted green-keeper.

Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced bowler, someone who has a disability or you just want to be a social member playing just for the company and fun. Young or old, we are sure we have something to suit you.

To attend this activity, book yourself by emailing at the address listed. Martel will be leading different activities every week but there will still be the chance to chat to friends and relax. This is a place for people with a learning disability to meet friends and make new ones.
