About us
Founded in 1904, the club moved to its current location in 1919. Welcoming clubhouse with changing rooms (no showers). Limited on-site parking. Coaching will be provided for beginners. We have a large selection of bowls for beginners to try out until they find the right size for themselves. Second-hand bowls are available to be purchased from the club.

How the club is run
As a private members' club, it is run by the members for the members. Committees are comprised of members who have been chosen by all the membership at the Annual General Meeting for a minimum of one year.
All the tasks within the club are carried out by the members so that costs can be kept down, it's especially valuable where members have skills that they are happy to share for the running and maintaining of the club.
The maintenance of the green is carried out professionally by a contracted green-keeper.

- What to wear: Flat shoes are a must at all times on the green. If you decide to join, grey trousers or skirt, club shirt, white flat shoes (trainers ok provided they have a flat sole).
- Additional information: As well as playing bowls (at all levels), there are social events organised throughout the year.
