Kingston Women’s Centre is a long standing charity run by women for women. Since 1982, we have supported thousands of women with their mental wellbeing through our low cost counselling service.
Kingston Women’s Centre is a welcoming space run by women for women. We support women of all backgrounds and ages from the local community. Our goal is to provide a safe, confidential environment where you can talk freely about anything that may be troubling, confusing, or painful, without fear of judgment.
We offer weekly counselling for up to two years, providing support with:
Anger issues
Anxiety
Bereavement
Childhood sexual abuse or difficult childhood experiences
Domestic abuse
Depression
Identity issues
Life changes or crises
Panic attacks
Pregnancy and parenting challenges
Relationship difficulties
Sensitivity and shame
Trauma
Work-related issues
Whatever you’re facing, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
How to get here: We are based in a residential street in Kingston upon Thames. We see women by appointment only and therefore walk in enquiries are not possible.
The centre has wheelchair access.

We offer individual counselling, group support, workshop and one to one recovery support in the following areas - Mental Health, Domestic Abuse, Young People’s Services, Education Training Employment (ETE), Housing Related Support, Women and Families, Substance Misuse, Peer Support.
We provide emotional support and a listening ear to people in distress including those experiencing suicidal feelings. The service is available via phone or email every day of the year
