Kingston Quakers

Kingston Quakers is a faith group which meets regularly for worship. Worship is silent, but afterwards, lots of talk. There are learning opportunities formal and informal and a rich tradition of spiritual search and writings.

What is this group?

Quakers try to live simply and sustainably, promoting peace, equality and truth. Putting faith into action is central to our way of life and we meet weekly for quiet worship, usually on Sunday, in more than 475 locations across Britain. Quakers have worshipped in Kingston for more than 350 years.

You do not have to be a Quaker to come to a Quaker Meeting – all are very welcome.

We meet for worship at Kingston Quaker Centre, Fairfield East, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 2PT.

We meet every Sunday at 10am. This includes children’s meeting on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, except in August. We also meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:15pm.

You may find it helpful to read Getting ready for Quaker worship if you’ve not attended before.

You can read more about Quakers on the Quakers in Britain website.

What people say

I initially came (to Quakers) because I was going through a rather arid spiritual time and Meeting for Worship in Kingston was wonderfully healing.
