Our libraries are free (though there may be a charge for some activities) and everyone is welcome.

Our libraries also provide:
Free public computers to use as well as plug-benches and free wi-fi to access;
Newspapers & magazines, and comfy chairs to sit and read;
Free collections of e-books, e-audio and e-magazines to download remotely
Online reference resources to help with homework and research queries;
Regular activities for both adults and children, including reading groups, knit and natter groups, rhyme times and story times;
One off events, such as author talks, workshops and craft sessions, and
Council information and staff, who can signpost you to other organisations if you need further advice or guidance.
