What is this service?

What is on offer at Kingston Libraries?

Our libraries are free (though there may be a charge for some activities) and everyone is welcome.

Libraries offer the following for loan:

  • Books,

  • DVDs,

  • Large Print books and

  • Spoken Word CDs

Our libraries also provide:

  • Free public computers to use as well as plug-benches and free wi-fi to access;

  • Newspapers & magazines, and comfy chairs to sit and read;

  • E-books, e-audio and e-magazines to download remotely,

  • Online reference resources to help with homework and research queries;

  • Regular activities for both adults and children, including reading groups, knit and natter groups, rhyme times and story times;

  • One off events, such as author talks, workshops and craft sessions, and

  • Council information and staff, who can signpost you to other organisations if you need further advice or guidance.
