End of Life Doulas aim to be a flexible and consistent presence, able to fill gaps in existing support and work alongside health and social care professionals. End of life doulas provide support at any stage, from point of diagnosis, in the later stages of illness and through the dying process; and can continue to offer support to family members following a bereavement. You can find out more about end of life doulas by visiting the website.
SW London ICB has provided funding for a pilot project meaning support provided via self-referrals submitted as part of this project is free of charge.
Referrals are welcomed from the patient themselves or anyone in their support network and can be made by completing the ‘Contact Us’ form here.
To find out more please email us (please do not include patient information when emailing a non-NHS email address). Please telephone if you would like to discuss suitability of end of life doula support for one of your patients.
