Christ Church Surbiton Hill

The story of Christ Church began in 1863 when local residents joined together to see the Church built to serve the local community. Since then, the following generations have sought to be faithful to the call to live out and proclaim the good news about Jesus.

Right now we’ve completed the first phase of an exciting project, Christ Church Renewed, which seeks to renew and restore our building so that we can be a greater blessing to our local community.

SUNDAYS AT CHRIST CHURCH

If you haven’t been to church before, you may well wonder what we do on Sundays. In our services, we provide a place where people of every age can gather and discover more of God’s love and purposes for them.

We have clearly explained talks from the Bible, a mix of contemporary and traditional music, prayer, and opportunities to respond to God. It’s an important time to encourage each other, as we discover more of what it means to live for Him.

CHILDREN & YOUTH

Children and Youth are an important part of the life of Christ Church and we long for them to understand how great God is and what Jesus has done for us. We run groups for children right from 0 through to 14 years old. We want to ensure that the times that children are at church are happy times and provide a solid foundation for their faith.

SMALL GROUPS

We believe that the church is not about the building, it’s about the people. Gathering together as a whole congregation and in Small Groups has always been part of our DNA at Christ Church.

One of our older members at Christ Church came alive in her faith in the 1950s when she was invited to a mid-week Bible study. Through the decades, many other lives have been changed as people have connected in our Small Groups and in this season, the opportunities for our Small Groups are greater than ever.

Our Small Groups are continuing to meet with each other in new and creative ways. Although we can’t meet together physically, there are plenty of ways to support each other, to pray and to reach out to those who are not yet in a group.
