We spend the afternoon having lots of fun and most importantly, playing! We offer opportunities for children to participate in adult led activities such as group games and risky play, but also all the choice to engage in freely chosen and self-directed play. This gives the children the opportunity to develop their imagination and creativity skills. The children are also part of the planning and preparation of the daily snack. Fresh fruit is also available throughout the afternoon.
During after school club hours we have access sole use of the ‘chill out’ room for those quieter moments, a main activity room and direct access to a huge playground with sports equipment and a trim trail. We often visit the local park for a picnic and an afternoon of outdoor fun!
Typical activities: Messy play, sports, tree climbing, outdoor challenges, cooking, den building, free play.
Parent pick-up time: 6pm
It’s really cool! The staff are really fun and funny and play with us lots. We get to make some awesome things and go to really cool places on trips!
