What is this service?

Safe, secure housing is a fundamental human right. We work to ensure that people living in private rented homes have the same life outcomes and wellbeing as everyone else

That starts with a safe, secure home.

What we do

To achieve our vision we are tackling housing inequality by providing a range of direct support services to vulnerable tenants as well as campaigning for policy change and the rights of the people and communities we represent.

Our activities include:

  • Providing legal and financial support and advice to vulnerable tenants facing eviction

  • Lobbying government and policy makers for policy change

Over the last 30 years we have supported thousands of tenants in acute housing need, and our influence is seen in housing policy changes since the early 90’s.

Underpinning everything we do is a desire to contribute to growing action against the climate emergency, and ensuring racial equality is embedded throughout our work.
