What is this service?

Kingston Carers’ Network supports carers of all ages by offering clear advice, helpful information, and practical support. This includes help with understanding carers’ rights, benefits they may be entitled to, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and accessing health and social care services.

We also have a dedicated Benefits and Tribunal Representative provide carers with detailed advice and support around a range of benefit related issues including:

  • Support carers through each step of the benefits claims process

  • Check what benefits someone might be eligible for

  • Help fill in claim forms

  • Prepare for and speak on behalf of carers at appeal hearings

We help with appeals on many issues, such as whether someone qualifies for a benefit, complicated calculations, or disagreements about disability and caring responsibilities.

We gather evidence, write supporting documents, and attend tribunal hearings to represent carers. This support has helped many carers receive significant financial benefits.
