What is this activity?
Beginner Sessions:
Saturdays: 6pm – 6:30pm
Have you always wanted to swim but don’t know how? Our lessons are designed for beginners with visual impairments. A qualified instructor will guide you step-by-step, helping you feel safe, confident, and comfortable in the water.

New signups must complete a registration form and have GP approval to join.

Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
Advanced Sessions:
For advanced swimmers we offer dedicated time in the main pool:
Thursdays: 7pm – 8pm
These sessions provide a safe and supportive space to practice and enjoy swimming.

- Cost: £5 a session (concessions available)
- Getting here: Bus routes 131, K1 and 213 stop nearby
- What to wear: Swimwear
- Parking: Paid car park with free disabled parking available
- What to bring: Please bring a swimming costume, towel and padlock for a locker
