Join us for a fascinating talk exploring what life was like in the "Dark Ages"; among other topics, we will discuss the origins of Kingston-upon-Thames as a centre of royal power, the structure of society, the place of religion and the art & culture of the Anglo-Saxons.

Delivered by Olive Higham, a historian and PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge, this is a must for anyone interested in Kingston’s heritage and the early story of Britain.
