Richmond Music Trust is an established provider of music therapy to children adults with a wide range of needs. We provide group and 1:1 sessions from our therapy rooms in Twickenham, Kingston and Hounslow. Additionally we offer an outreach service all over Surrey and West London to residential homes and day centres offering a bespoke service in the client's home.
In partnership with Kingston Music Service we offer music therapy sessions at the Hook Centre in Kingston borough. Sessions are offered from the well-equipped music studio throughout the week.
Music Therapy is an active therapy that involves creative music making on a wide range of instruments with a therapist. Communication and emotional empathy is encouraged through the shared exploration of rhythms, melodies, harmonies and sounds. Taking part in music therapy is fun and helps support positive development and enables people to reach their full potential. It promotes relationships, confidence and well-being.
