Book collections at all Kingston borough libraries focused on health and wellbeing. Part of a national scheme, the books have been endorsed by health professionals. Issues covered include mental health for all ages and long-term physical conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, heart disease and pain. There are also books aimed at those with dementia or those caring for someone with dementia. The titles offer practical information and advice to help you understand and cope better with your condition.
As well as physical copies of the Reading Well titles to support mental health, many are available in eBook and eAudio formats. There are titles for children, young people and adults. These can be borrowed free with a library card on the OverDrive platform: https://llc.overdrive.com/collection/1175275
