What is this activity?

ParkPlay looks to build happier, healthier communities through the life-changing power of play. This volunteer-driven project will bring more joy, engagement, and fun, whilst helping to build connections throughout the local community.

Key Features of ParkPlay:

  • It's two hours of community play, every Saturday morning in a park or public space.

  • It's active and inclusive games - all generations play together.

  • It's a safe, welcoming and inclusive way for people to connect and have fun.

  • It's run by the local community for the local community.

How Can You Get Involved?

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is looking for volunteer Community Playleaders to work with us to engage and drive the growth of ParkPlay at each of the following locations; Cambridge Road Estate, Chessington, and New Malden. Each Playleader will be fully supported by ParkPlay UK, providing the knowledge, support, and resources to enable local teams to make ParkPlay a success.
