New Malden Little League has provided organised League and Cup football to boys and girls of all abilities between 7 and 12 years of age since 1978. Whilst there is a competitive element involved, our objective is to provide an environment where children can enjoy their football and have fun. Emphasis is placed on team spirit and sportsmanship amongst players and parents alike.
The League is based in Manor Park, New Malden, where games are played on Saturday mornings starting at 09:30 and 11:45am kick offs. The League is split into two separate Divisions: Juniors, ages 7,8 and 9 and Seniors, ages 10, 11 and 12. Within the Senior Division, the football league season is split into two separate championships; one before Christmas (1st Half Season) and one after Christmas (2nd Half Season). There will be play-offs, if required, to determine the overall League Champions.
The League is a non profit organisation, run by a committee made up of past and present parents and other volunteers and any money received from donations, sponsorship and money raising events is used to pay for the hiring of the playing pitches and buying kit and equipment. There is always room for more volunteers, similarly if you would like to sponsor a team we would be very glad to hear from you.
The League has a Child Protection Policy and all officials and team managers are subject to enhanced disclosure checks via the Criminal Records Bureau.
