We provide 1:1 bereavement counselling and bereavement support groups for adults, children and young people. Most of our bereavement counselling takes place face to face but some online appointments can be made available.
What is this service?
Mediation
We have 7 accredited mediators to help with child arrangements or financial situations following a divorce.
We offer legal aid which means, if you are eligible, mediation would be free. We can also arrange £500 government voucher scheme to go towards mediation which involves children.
Mediation can be done in our offices in Hampton Hill, in St Margarets or online.
Counselling (for adults who have been divorced in the past or are going through a divorce and children whose parents have split up in the past or who are going through a divorce). The challenges they are facing don't have to do with the divorce. Our counsellors are fully qualified.
We have three child counsellors and offer 10 sessions at £10 a session.
We have two adult counsellors and offer 8 sessions at £10 a session.
We have funding from Children In Need to help support our child counselling.
Currently we have a very short waiting list for our counselling
Family Bridges
We also offer sessions to help families communicate better again at £10 per person.
