The Kingston Domestic Violence Hub provides free, confidential, non-judgemental and independent support to anyone who is experiencing domestic abuse.
DV Hub Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs) support women and men at high risk of injury or harm from a current or former partner/family member. Whatever your age, sex, gender, sexuality, religion, race or disability, they will either directly support you or link you with the service most appropriate for your needs. We also provide empowerment groups for women and support for children who are affected by domestic abuse.
The DV Hub has an Early Intervention Service for girls aged 13-17 who have experienced, are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing any form of Gender-Based Violence which could include Domestic Abuse, So-Called Honour Based Violence, Sexual Assault, Sexual Exploitation, Trafficking, FGM and more.
The hub is not a drop-in service, but if you wish, an IDVA will arrange to meet with you and talk to you face to face.
The Domestic Violence worker was very clued up about how my ex operates, so she understood what I was saying. She has been in regular contact.
