The KingsGate Student Pantry is a not-for-profit social venture partnership between KingsGate Church and Kingston University for the university students.

Students pay a small amount each visit (£5), and receive approximately £20-£25 worth of goods, from a range of food (including fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen and chilled food, meat, dairy, vegetarian and vegan products, alongside a supply of tins and packets) and non-food items (such as household and personal hygiene items).
In addition to accessing the pantry goods, students will be able to engage in wrap-around support including:
A warm space for students to relax and build relationships with free refreshments
Recipes and cooking demonstrations of simple, low cost, healthy meals
Pastoral support to those who would like to access
Signposting to University provision (such as hardship funds, mental health support), church support, activities and other local support as appropriate
Just turn up on Sundays during term time. (last entry is 3.20pm) with your student ID badge, a couple of carrier bags and £5 card/cash. You can find us by going down the little side street in between KFC and the King's Tun pub! We promise you a warm welcome.
Don't forget to bring your KU Student ID
Our entrance is in the alley between KFC and the Wetherspoons pub by Kingston Station.

If you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you may be entitled to get help to buy healthy food and milk.

KVA's Surplus to Supper Hub collects surplus food from local sources and redistributes it to foodbanks, community groups, community organisations, and shelters.
