We offer advice to people on housing and benefits, statutory rights and accessing health services.
Our drop-in only Advice Service (the 'Housing Crisis Intervention Service') offers advice on:
Housing and benefits
Statutory rights
Accessing health services
Securing accommodation.
In line with homelessness legislation, which dictates a person's local connection to be resident in a borough for six out of twelve months or three years out of five, KCAH prioritises those clients with a connection to Kingston upon Thames.
New clients should come to one of our morning drop-in session which are run Mondays to Fridays from 10am to 1pm.
Occasionally, we need to close the drop-in early when we have long queues in the waiting room or staff are unavailable due to training. It is always best to arrive early.
Due to the high level of demand, we are unable to deal with enquiries over the phone or by email.
"KCAH is an opportunity to get your life back. They have also really helped with my confidence." - KCAH-client
