Helmar Care is registered as a charity to provide community services to the BAME people living within Kingston and surrounding areas. It works to promote the good health and social status of people of African descent living in the UK.
We aim to provide support to people at home to enable them to stay in their own home, maintain and promote independence and achieve a good quality of life.

Alpenbest focus on helping people to lead fulfilled lives in their own homes, by providing a range of flexible high quality care services that maximise independence.
We can provide a wide range of services, from as little as a few hours each week up to 24 hour live-in care. We can also provide services at short notice, and deal with many people who have complex needs.
Our service users include a range of people, from the independent, to those who have particular high level or complex needs, including:
People aged over 18
People with a disability
Acquired brain injury
Dementia
Terminal illness requiring palliative care
We offer assistance with the following conditions:
Dementia
Stroke
Parkinson's disease
Learning difficulties
End of life care
And other long term illnesses
Our services consist of:
Assistance with going to bed and getting up in the morning
Assistance with all aspects of personal care, including washing, showering & bathing
Assistance to dress and undress
Toilet & Continence requirements
Administration of medication
Nutritional needs, preparation of meals & feeding if required
Domestic tasks & laundry
Collection of shopping
Sitting services and companionship
Escorting people on outings and to access leisure interests, to help them maintain their community networks
Night time care including sleeping and waking nights
We work with people who are referred to us by the Royal Borough of Kingston, people with a direct payment, an individual budget, as well as those with private funding.
