Event description

Warm Homes, Better Health

From 19th to 23rd of January Kingston Libraries are bringing you sessions with local partners to help support your health and wellbeing. This session focuses on the Warm Homes, Better Health service, which offers:

  • Free devices to help cut your water and energy use

  • Assessments for insulation and heating grants

  • Assessments for discounts on your bills

  • Advice on lowering your heating bills while keeping warm

  • Referrals for benefit checks and debt advice

  • Advice on free walks and other exercise opportunities in the borough

  • Advice on keeping healthy and well in winter

To be eligible for this service, you must be a Kingston resident and have one or more of the following:

  • Be Aged 65 or over

  • Have a long-term condition such as diabetes

  • Have a low income, such as being in receipt of Universal Credit
