This is a free drop-in event for families with children between 0 - 11 years old. Expect family fun with a range of activities including arts and crafts, music, sports, advice & information stands, free preloved clothes and toys and even a petting farm.

Event description

This community event is a joint initiative between AfC Kingston Borough Family Hub & Children’s Centres and Kingston Borough Youth Services. It promises to be a fun-filled day for families with children aged 0–11, and is planned as an inclusive and accessible event for families with sensory needs.

National Play Day is at Dickerage Youth & Community Centre, Dickerage Lane, New Malden, KT3 3EQ, on Wednesday 5th August. Activities run from 11:00am–3:00pm, and you can drop-in at any time. Activities will include:

A petting farm
Games, music, and face painting
A range of free activities for children
Advice and information stalls
Free preloved toys, clothes, shoes, coats, and school uniforms available for families

Food and refreshments will be available to purchase on the day, or families are very welcome to bring a picnic.
