We know from experience that caring for a loved one with dementia can have its challenges. Carers often experience a range of emotions and when they are busy providing care for their loved one, they may not be able to talk openly about these. We want you to be able to ask questions or discuss sensitive issues that you otherwise may not be fully able to do. Therefore, we have put together this course that creates a safe space and run each week for four consecutive weeks.
Practical advice and information
These four workshops provide an opportunity to improve knowledge, skills and understanding for those caring for a person with dementia in a friendly and confidential environment.
Topics include:
What is dementia?
Legal and welfare matters.
How you can support and care for someone with dementia.
Support services in your borough and planning for the future.
Information, advice and support
We understand that talking with others can be difficult and that some people would like to talk about things that matter most to them and ask questions. Therefore, each course has a maximum of eight attendees. The sessions are run by skilled, compassionate and experienced staff.
These CrISP 1 workshops will be online on 3 , 10 , 17 and 24 June 2026,
11am-1pm. Booking is essential.
