Now a regular favourite in the Christmas TV schedule, The Sound of Music premiered in cinemas 60 years ago, with the album of the movie soundtrack becoming the best-selling in the UK in 1965, 1966, and 1968.
Come and celebrate the anniversary with a mass singalong at Waterloo Station on Saturday 6 December!
Join in the singing at Waterloo Station (by The Sidings) with performances at 11:30 & 12:30. No singing experience required. Sing classic songs from The Sound of Music as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the record breaking The Sound of Music album in a fun event for everyone.
Dress for the occasion, be it as a nun or any other character from the film!

Why?
The Sound of Music soundtrack album was produced and distributed by Decca Records in New Malden in 1965. It topped the UK album charts for 70 weeks in total between 1965 and 1968!

No need to sign up, simply arrive at 11:15 on the Saturday 6 December ready for the first performance at 11:30.
